  • There are some common estimation methods like Constructive Cost Model, Function Point Analysis, Source Line of Code but please ensure different staff working on it have correct understanding.

* Many cases are found that Function Point estimation result are different due to interpretation of the method of how item is classified, i.e. External Input/Output/Inquiries or Internal Logical Files, especially when there are some room for unclear and misleading explanation. Reconciliation is a complicated process between different parties. There are some indexes which shows the project situation, e.g., Cost and Schedule Performance Index which is compiled based on Actual Cost, Earned Value and Planned Value.
